A nice warm day. Ahhhhhh

5/24/2012

Well it is Thursday.  Do you know what that means?  Nothing really, just one day closer to the weekend.  We are moving in a couple of days, and I still feel like I have so much to do.  Well to be honest, I do have alot of things to get done.

I have to tell you, I love Seth Meyers.  He was on Live with Kelly this morning.  So so funny.  I just love his laugh.  I thought I loved Anderson Coopers laugh, but I think Seth may have him beat.  Every time I see him on something, I think he is so funny.   Love Seth Meyers!

The girl had to write a report for D.A.R.E last week.  It was a big deal, as most things are in our family.  At the end of the report she had to add that she would pledge to be violence and drug free.  She didn't add that.  So the morning of the due date for the report, she starts flipping out, that she had forgotten to put the pledge in.     I told her the report looked good, and at the bottom of the page write in your own handwriting your pledge.  Omg, that is crazy ....  It would never be accepted.  Back and fourth we went.  Finally she just add s it like I suggested.   Comes home that day and says it was accepted and it was all ok.  Then yesterday she comes barreling in the door and says her report along with two others were chosen to be read in front of the whole school.  Glad she turned it in that day.  Very proud of her, But ughhhh she makes me crazy!!

In the news today they said the best sunblock was Walgreens brand spf 50.  The worst brand to stay away from ( if you are wanting sunblock) is Hawaiian Tropic.  Well hello ..... Everyone knows that if you want the golden bronze glow you go for Hawaiin Tropic .  Duh!

Today is Brothers Day and  dot dot dot doooooot dooooot (Morse Code Day)  Enjoy!!

Thankful tidbit ..... That I just got a small burst of energy!

Until the next time    xo

Headaches stink :(

5/22/2012

Good morning.....
Its a drizzly grey morning.  Which I hate, but when you are packing up a house, you feel alot less guilty for  being in the house.

Its the kids last week of school.   As much as I don't want them home and bored all summer, it will be nice to not get up and start running like crazy right off the bat.   I was up from about 4 am listening to those loud chirping birds.  I love that my windows were open, but I hate being woke up listening to a bunch of birds conversing. Crazy mommy with a headache had a crazy house this morning.

I was dropping little man off at school this morning, and I see tons of parents going into the school. Hmmmm I'm hoping I didn't forget about something.  I even had pj bottoms on.  I never wear something like that.  I was just running so late I hopped in the car.  Next thing I realize is i'm in my pj bottoms.  My biggest pet peeve!!  So I couldn't go into the school to figure out what was going on, because I was inappropriately dressed.  :(    I'm sure I will get an ear full when he gets out at 11am.

Had the girl's recital this weekend.  Went really good.  She did wonderful.  I was so proud of her.   Several people came up to me and told me how good she was.   It was a long one though.  I think there was 45 numbers.  Overall it was good!   Both boys were glad they didn't have to go.  So was I .  The whole time I was thinking thank goodness they are not here.  That  would have been a true nightmare.  Someone told me at the one showing there were two parents with two young er children with them.  They said the kids yelled, fought, and kicked their chairs the whole time.  My friend said she turned around and gave them a look a few times.  Then asked the mom to please stop the child from kicking the chair.  Then the mom got offended and snapped some bullshit comment to her.   I mean seriously.  Who are these people that think their children are entitled to do and say what they want.   Like its totally ok that those kids were kicking someones chair.  If for some reason you absolutely cannot find a sitter, then one parent should stay home with the kids, then another parent go to the other showing. Sometimes that is not workable either.  I understand.  Kids should not be allowed to do these things, because the parent doesn't want to upset them or whatever bullshit excuse these parents use.  The parents are supposed to be in charge.  Not the kids.  If the kids think they are, they need to be reminded firmly that they are not!      Afternoon Rant !!

Thankful tidbit......  My kids were not at the recital.

Crazy mommy is off to finish packing up my house.

RIP Donna Summer

5/17/2012

Let's start with ....  RIP Donna Summer!  Loved her growing up.  :(  Sad to hear.   I have been running all day.  So tired!

So Keeping up with the Kardashians is coming back on.   I normally would be excited, but I hate Kim K so much I might just stop watching.  After that bullshit scam of a wedding, I just cannot stomach her.  She tweets pictures of herself all day long.  Ughh  She is such a media hound.  I truly feel she made a mockery of the meaning of marriage.   Love Bruce though!!

How about John Travolta?  Also known as Danny Zucko and Vinny Babarino.   What do you think? Could he really be grabbing and touching all these masseurs?  I think not, if its one cuckoo.  Several people are coming forward though.  Makes me sad!  They claim its a vicious tabloid agenda.  Hopefully!

I'm really having a craving for fried potatoes and onions.   I believe i'm going to start cutting up some potatoes.  Yum yum!

Its World Hypertension Day!  So..... Do what you need to for hypertension.

Thankful tidbit ....  That one child is already asleep and its 7:30

Crazy mommy is out of here!

The hump!

5/16/2012

Happy Hump Day!   Just got home from the grocery store.  I had several things in my bag that wasn't mine.  I either blacked out and just started putting things in, or the lady in front of me is missing some groceries.  That happened to me a few  weeks ago.   Got home and was missing  some hamburger, buns, and a few other things.  Very frustrating!

The girl has recital rehearsal tonight.  It is such a hassle.  I am looking forward to her recital, I heard they put on a good one.  Hopefully.   Over the years there has been some good ones and some painful to watch ones.    Here's hoping!

So I had this dream last night that I was at some dinner thing with my boys, and bf's cousin.  I was checking little mans ears at the dinner to make sure they were clean and I found a baby fried shrimp in his ear.  As crazy as that sounds, I didn't even seem crazy shocked that I had found that.  I said to him ( in the dream) if I find a shrimp in your other ear you are going to be in trouble.  WTF?  Well I didn't find a shrimp, I found some left over chicken strips.  I woke up laughing my ass off.  So funny. ( kind of)

I heard today that if your child has the Justin Bieber haircut they could get a lazy eye.  From not using that eye enough.  Whew...I now have more to go on besides just saying its an outdated haircut.  My opinion!  Little man just said this morning he didn't want to get a haircut, he wanted it to grow out.  I now can tell him he may get a lazy eye.  ;)

Its National Sea Monkey Day!!   A big salute to all those Sea Monkey's.   Looking good!!

Thankful tidbit .     The week is half over!

Crazy mommy is off to her crazy life!

:)

5/14/2012

Happy post Mothers Day!   Hope it was happy for everyone.

Mirror mirror on the wall who is the top girl scout cookie of them all?  Thin Mint!  Go figure.  I read today that was this years to seller.  Is anyone surprised?  I'm not.  The Samoa came in second.  Which I thought it could have been that or the Peanut Butter sandwich cookie.  I have a story about the Samoa cookie.  A couple of years ago the girl was in girl scouts.  They had a Mothers day tea.  Everyone had to bring a cake.  So I thought and thought. I finally decided we would make a girl scout cookie cake.  We decided on the Samoa.  So I researched the cookie to see what it all was made of.  We made a vanilla bundt cake, frosted it with chocolate, toasted coconut, sprinkled it across the  top, then drizzled chocolate or whatever across the top.   Omg it looked just like the cookie. I was proud as hell.  The next day we go to the tea with all the cakes.  I even think the girl was getting a badge for this.  We get there and I go sit the cake down, I almost passed out.  There were only maybe five (at the most) homemade cakes.  All friggin store bought cakes. This was the whole city of girl scouts, not just our troop.   I was beside myself. I almost left.   Then they were having a lottery and a cake switch.  I ended up leaving with a day old, never picked up birthday cake from a grocery store.  I mean it was for a badge.  How do you justify that.  I will never forget that day.   I tried too get mine back, but it was the first to go.  No shit.

For all those interested 7/11 is now going to be offering diet slurpee's.  For your slim days, remember the diet slurpee its made with Splenda.  Good luck to 7/11 on their new diet adventure.  I have to be honest if i'm going to get a slurpee it is sure not going to be diet. Hmmmm actually that sounds pretty good right now.  Yum!

Its national chicken dance day.  Get to dancin....

Thankful tidbit.    That there isn't a 7/11 real close.   Lol

Crazy mommy is off to sleep.  Xo

Bring on Friday

5/10/2012

Well...... Here we are another thursday has come and gone.  I had so many things I wanted to get done today, then little man got removed from school at 10:00am.  So needless to say I didn't get everything done that I wanted.  I'm not sure whats going on with him.  He had started doing pretty well.  Then he took a quick slippery ride down to bad ville.   One step forward three big steps back.  Frustrating.

So has anyone seen the front page of the Time magazine?  A woman with her boob out, breastfeeding her three year old son, who is standing on a chair to reach the boob.  Omg!  I was actually speechless.  I just dont understand why women want to breastfeed that long.  I personally feel it's borderline gross at that point.  Maybe because breastfeeding did not go well or work out for me.  Ummmm actually no I would never ever breastfeed that long.  Creepy!

So had to take the middle one to the dr this morning.  He was having some allergy issues.  He also has been complaining alot and crying about his back and neck hurting.  I have felt bad and been trying to figure out what is hurting him.  The doctor informed us that he has grown 3 1/2 inches since December 15, and gained no weight.  So basically it is growing pains. He is stretched to the max right now.  Even his elbows are throbbing.  I felt bad for him.  He is struggling with growing pains and the girl is struggling with her head gear for her braces.  I mean you would have thought  she was the only one that ever has had to deal with this.  She did inform me that I don't know what it's like, because I did not have braces.  Well she is wrong!  Kind of.  When my cousin and I were in 4th and 5th grade we would get paper clips, open them up and straighten them out.  Then we would put them across our teeth like a retainer.  WTF....i know.  I believe I even had my retainer ( paper clip) in for a school picture.  They didn't always feel good.  So I do know that pain.  Sort of!  As I got older , dentist s would say ..... Oh did you ever have braces or a retainer?  Ummmm kind of.  I really wanted braces as a kid.  I always had nice straight teeth.  Even straighter after my years of retainer s.

Thankful tidbit.  That it is National Clean Your Room Day.  Kept the kiddos busy tonight!  Woop woop

Good night.  Crazy mommy is zzzzzz

Tired

5/8/2012

Long day.  Little man had a muffins with mom breakfast today at 7:30.  So we had to get moving a little earlier today.  The line for muffins was crazy.  I almost just skipped it, but I was starving at that point.  I was also waiting for the terrential downpour to stop.  Left there went home did some laundry. Then went to the mall returned a bunch of things then picked little man up.  Who had a horrible day.  Has been pretty consistant with the bad days.  Then took him to religion.   I was so tired, and I was cozy in the recliner.  Next thing I know I had been asleep for almost 35 minutes.  Woke up and my mouth was open, drool running out.  I was embarrassed.  Sister Mary  said we tried to be as quiet as we could.

Then the girl had a choir concert, I sat next to an over zealous grandpa.  I thought I'm here alone no other kids I'm going to relax for a half hour.  Nope!  This grandpa sits next to me and wants to chat.  Sits down and says, who are you, who you watching, where is she at, ughhhh he quieted down after that.  Thank goodness.
We then had to leave halfway through, the girl had musical theater.  While I was sitting there I get an email, letting everyone know about the cub scout awards night.  Are you kidding me??  They just don't get it.

(Friday morning)   Little man had a horrible stomach ache last night.  Hope it gets better today.  He was  really not feeling well.  Whined and moaned most of the night.

Choo Choo  It's National Train Day!  All aboard

Thankful tidbit ......  That little man might want to take a nap today .   ;)

Signing off -   Crazy mommy xo
